concept

Chris is an amazing stylist, model and creative director in his own right. The area he has the most experience and passion for however is styling. I wanted to highlight that but with him as the model and a little bit of a storyline added too. It was a sunny and windy summer day in downtown Boston which worked wonderfully for us as he’d opted for a layered look with movement and a free hairstyle. This enabled us to get diversity in our shots despite not having outfit changes other than removing one or two articles of clothing. Chris has an uncanny ability to go from goofing around and dancing one second to “locked in” the next. I directed him lightly in poses I thought most flattering for the clothes but he served face all on his own, delivering looks full of pensive emotions. These shots feel like bts images of a model on set, on break but still serving.
