concept

I’ve always wanted to do a simple plain shoot reminiscent of calvin klein campaigns, white tee, blue jeans, and underwear peeking out the top. Those are the styling directions I gave Jazmany and we chose my new apartment to shoot in. This place was bigger than my previous apartment so I had plenty of different areas to shoot in with many sources of light. My roommates also had some huge plants we were able to play with. I wanted to capture that feeling of lounging at home on your day off, peaceful and content to just relax after working all week. A little bit intimate since you’re comfortable in your home and can do whatever you want. I usually have a lot going on in my shoots either with concept, make up, styling, or setting and really wanted to focus on simplicity and minimalism this time.
