This shoot was an exploration into body positivity while playing with light bondage. We used one of my belts as a makeshift bondage replacement, a popular tool in domination. Most women that enter the world of domination do so for the feelings of empowerment(and pleasure) that it brings. I wanted to tap into that strength and embrace the sexuality of the female body but done so on her terms. I also wanted to showcase a plus sized body in this shoot since that is more representative of the average woman’s size especially in America. I wanted the shoot to be raw, sexy and more than anything real. I bounced between warm and cool coloring in the edits to show the different emotions in each photo. From sensual, passionate, and fiery to soft, curious, and loving.
