concept

I got a sparkly new backdrop I was just itching to try out so I called Katy who is always down to create with me when time allows. The sparkles gave me club energy so I honed in on that and aimed for the end of the night at a concert, minutes before the last call vibes. We’re drunk, we’re sweaty, we may even be wet from spilled drinks, but we’re still raring to go and having fun. During the shoot we put on music, I gave her some circle shades and sprayed her hair with water, and directed her to do some head banging moves and just have fun with it. I kept the camera close to her face the way it is when you ask for friends to take your photo at the club. They try their best, but they’re drunk too, so what you usually wind up getting is nothing but close ups, lots of flash, and many blurry memories.
