concept

This shoot was born of a really simple idea, what would it look like if you dressed up to go on a walk? A stroll around the neighborhood but make it fashion? I had Katy come in a nice but also comfortable flowy dress, some fun accessories and a simple glowy makeup look. We set out in the evening to catch the setting sun and play in the warm glow while we perused around the neighborhood and ended in the nearby reservoir. I wanted to capture the simple joy of being outside as well as the freedom that summer brings. Everyone wants to be outside of their house, the flowers are in full bloom, seasonal depression has ended, and there’s nothing more peaceful than the suns heat on your skin and a cool breeze in your hair.
