concept

Sabrina the teenage with but make it dark and gloomy and fashion. I had a dress too small to fit me, red ribbons, and a reservoir near my house covered with fallen autumn foliage and thus my Salem inspired vision started to come together. I wanted to capture the story of a teenage nature witch fed up with being told no by her mother, but still too scared to venture far, and so her rebellion takes the form of going to the park alone when it’s closed and practicing her elemental magic there. Despite bringing our own props we discovered abandoned chairs and fragments of glass that we incorporated into the shoot as well. Kiana was more than happy to see my vision through even when it required being barefoot in the dirt or climbing into thorn filled shrubbery and we were able to capture my dream in its entirety.
