concept

I met Sage at a creators meetup hosted by @traceyphotography in Boston Commons and immediately vibed with her energy. We agreed to shoot together post the meetup and this is that shoot. I loved Sage’s bone structure and long limbs so I wanted to do something that would highlight those features. My back porch was empty as I’d yet to decorate it and I got some really beautiful light there in the evening. With that the location was chosen. I love juxtaposition between styling and setting so I decided to do something sultry and playful. My grandma had gifted me one of her button downs after much begging and I had a pair of fishnet stockings and some sheer gloves. I wanted the outfit to be really simple and so I could focus on how it flattered Sage as well as her movements throughout the shoot. As we began shooting we bounced between playful and almost circus-esque to pensive and thoughtful. Conjuring up emotions of longing as well as sensuality.
